The client needed a custom paper bag for jewellery purchases and gifting. The bag had to be useful for daily showroom packaging while still giving customers a premium feel.

Challenge Faced by Tagsen Team

The main challenge for the Tagsen team was to upgrade Mahakali Jewellers’ packaging from a normal carry bag to a premium jewellery paper bag without making the design look too heavy.

Jewellery packaging needs the right balance of elegance, strength, and brand presentation. The bag had to look rich, but not overly decorative. It also needed to keep the logo clearly visible with a clean and minimal front layout.

Another important challenge was usability. Since the bag would be used for customer purchases and gifting, it had to feel strong, comfortable to carry, and suitable for showroom-level presentation.

The packaging also had to support daily showroom use while still giving customers a premium feel during purchase handover.

This made material strength, logo visibility, finishing quality, and carrying comfort equally important for the final paper bag.

Solution by Tagsen Team

Based on the client’s requirements, the Tagsen team created a premium custom paper bag focused on brand visibility, finishing quality, and customer usability.

A navy blue base colour was selected to give the bag a rich and elegant jewellery packaging feel. The logo was placed in the centre of the front panel so the brand name could remain clearly visible without making the layout look crowded.

Single-colour foil printing was used to highlight the logo and add a premium touch. Matte lamination was added to give the surface a smooth, non-glossy, and refined finish.

For customer comfort, a rope handle was used. This made the bag easier to carry and suitable for both regular purchases and gifting.

Design Approach

The design approach was kept simple, clean, and premium. For a jewellery showroom, the packaging should feel classy and trustworthy without too many design elements.

The dark navy blue colour created a rich background, while the foil logo added contrast and brand focus. The front layout was kept clean so the logo could become the main visual element.

The matte finish helped reduce extra shine and gave the paper bag a smooth, premium feel. Overall, the design was planned to create a polished jewellery showroom packaging experience.
