Custom gift wrapping paper is paper printed with your own photo, logo, message or artwork instead of a stock pattern. Why we print on 100 GSM Maplitho

Paper weight is measured in grams per square metre. Lighter paper is cheaper and more translucent; heavier paper is more opaque but stiffer to fold, and a sharp crease in heavy stock is more likely to crack. We settled on 100 GSM because it stays opaque over a dark gift box while still folding cleanly around small items. Maplitho is the Indian trade name for uncoated woodfree offset stock, so ink sinks into the sheet rather than sitting on a glossy coating.

Which size fits your gift?

Measure the box first, then use this rule: sheet length should be at least twice the box height plus twice the box width, with about 5 cm of overlap. Worked through, that puts 5.5 × 8.5 inch in range of a jewellery or bangle box, 8.5 × 11 inch in range of a mug box or perfume carton, and 11 × 17 inch in range of a shoe box. Check your own box against the formula before ordering. If you are wrapping for an event, our advice is to order a little spare — wrapping in volume always costs a few sheets.

Individuals print names, photographs and messages for birthdays, weddings and festive hampers. Businesses print a logo or brand pattern for client gifts, employee hampers and product packaging — a repeating tiled logo is the most common corporate brief. Sheets or rolls?

We supply pre-cut sheets, not continuous rolls. Sheets give every gift a clean edge and a consistent print position, which is what gifting and retail packaging need.
